The Spanish Cazuela is the most recommended pot for making the recipes in Paula Wolfert's new book 'Mediterranean Clay Pot Cooking"

Our new Spanish Cazuela, or baking dish, is handmade in the US and is perfect for gratins, paellas, roasting, dishes like a stroganoff, egg bake or baked pancake.  It is made of our Flameware stovetop clay body so it's perfect for dishes that start on the stovetop and are finished in the oven.  And it's so pretty you'll use it at the table to serve from.
Has a small handle on one side and hotpad tab on the other for easy handling.
Cleanup is easy by hand or in the dishwasher.  You can use any utensils without fear of scratching.
About 11 inches in diameter, available in blue-gray, as shown, only.

Another great dish in the cazuela is Kathy Gori's Polenta.

5 Stars worth every penny
by Farishtah from Washington State on Apr 24, 2010
Greetings! I received the cazuela on Thursday and, when I took it out of the box and felt it in my hands, I could feel how much you people enjoy what you do. It's also nicely balanced with proportions just right for my small hands. Last night I slow cooked leeks and fennel in it. Fabulous -- and worth every penny. Thank you. Farishtah

5 Stars A Treasure!
by Anjali Gupta on Apr 1, 2010
Just received mine yesterday and am so delighted with it! It is beautifully constructed with a nice heft (but won't break your wrist like cast iron enamel) and gorgeous glaze. The omelette I made in it today did have an unusually velvety quality, which I can only attribute to the cazuela. Will enjoy it for ages...
